Campus security is the ‘eyes and ears’ of the campus environs, maintaining an accessible presence to protect all patrons, staff and visitors to the campus, to prevent crime, detect unsafe situations and to also look after campus buildings and property.

National Protective Services can provide a high level of campus security, with a comprehensive list of services and support which include the capability to monitor and provide 24 hour surveillance of the area. Mobile patrols on campus routinely check buildings, common areas, car parks. Uniformed Security officers are highly trained and skilled and are easily accessible onsite at a central security office should a person need to raise an alert, or find themselves in an emergency situation.

On campus security can also provide a detailed and tailored safety-training program to all people that use the campus. Safety training encourages people to think ahead, to plan for their personal safety and know how to react in a dangerous situation. The security team can provide consultancy services as well as advice on planning and further development of the campus from a safety perspective.
